Ļć½¶Ö±²„receives inaugural Top Colleges for Innovation Award

STARKVILLE, Miss.ā€”Mississippi State is being honored for its commitment to forward-thinking campus solutions, earning a spot on Insight Into Academiaā€™s inaugural ā€œTop Colleges for Innovationā€ list.

Insight Into Academia, the nationā€™s longest-running publication dedicated to advancing best practices in higher education, established this award to recognize institutions where innovation is central to the universityā€™s vision, strategy and measurable impact. Ļć½¶Ö±²„is the only university in Mississippi and the Southeastern Conference to be featured in the publication's upcoming June issue.

ā€œInnovation is a driving force here and is woven into Mississippi Stateā€™s strategy, operations and culture,ā€ said Raā€™Sheda Forbes, Ļć½¶Ö±²„vice president for access, opportunity, and success. ā€œThis distinction further solidifies the ample work our staff and faculty do daily to ensure that we are taking care of our students in the ways they need.ā€

This achievement reflects a wealth of innovative programming across the university. Key examples include the IDEELab and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach, along with student-focused initiatives like New Maroon Camp and Supplemental Instruction. These programs, among many others, represent MSUā€™s holistic commitment to reimagining the student experience.
