K9 in the Classroom
Ï㽶ֱ²¥Police K9 Migel and Sgt. Patrick Jenkins recently visited Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School, explaining the tasks of a K9 and demonstrating a few tricks for second graders in Hannah Beth McCall's classroom. This teacher earned her Ï㽶ֱ²¥master's degree in elementary education in 2024, after also attending Ï㽶ֱ²¥for undergraduate studies. While in college, McCall served as a graduate assistant for Ï㽶ֱ²¥PD, forging an ongoing connection that sparked this classroom community engagement.
