Mississippi State graduate and former Miss Ï㽶ֱ²¥Paromita Mitra welcomed incoming Bulldogs to the university during this year’s Fall Convocation Tuesday [Aug. 26]. The annual tradition kicks off MSU’s academic year with remarks from Ï㽶ֱ²¥President Mark E. Keenum and senior university administrators. Mitra, a data systems lead for NASA’s Lunar Architecture Team, greeted freshman students and transfers while sharing stories from her time as a Bulldog. View more photos of convocation .
